Today was an interesting day. I had never been to a fair before, and was a little nervous. When I got there I was given the assignment to shoot the oldest man and woman awards presentation at the fair. There I met Gladys Brown a 100-year-old woman who wanted to ride a camel. According to her family while in the hospital for gall-bladder surgery a few months earlier she told the doctors to make sure she would be well enough to ride the camel during the fair. Talk about a woman. I want to be like her when I get old. I could only stay for an hour or so before heading off to my next assignment, but I had a lot of fun. Tomorrow promises to be a full day affair at the fair. I am excited.
